SAMUEL S. SNOW.—We learn that this personage who published a proclamation against General Taylor's proclamation for a fast, was never a member of our church, but claims to be Elijah the Prophet, who has cursed the whole world and says none have a right to preach but himself. Several Elijah's have made their appearance lately, but they are not endowed with a very large portion of the spirit of the true and living God, if we may judge by the ''manifesto's'' which they have published.
