A second note mentions an item from the Council Bluffs Bugle newspaper reports that a group of Mormon missionaries, including [[John Taylor]], had arrived in Council Bluffs after 42 days of travel from Salt Lake City. Taylor, it reports, was on his way to New York City to start a Mormon newspaper, to be called [[The Mormon]].

This time, the report indicates that N. H. Felt, Capt. A. Robbins, Dr. J. Clinton, E. K. Fuller and M. A. Peck accompany Taylor as assistants and counselors.
