Monday, May 24<br />
We arrived in New York about 11:30 A.M. and got landed about 1:30 P.M. We were met by [[Hart, James Jr.|Bro. J.W. Hart]]. After our luggage had been looked into, we went to Castle Gardens, the island. People spent the night in the house at the Gardens but we went to a hotel.<br />

Thursday, 25<br />
We returned to the Gardens and got our tickets to Chicago and prepared to start home on the Penn. R.R. from Jersey City, which point we left at 7:15 P.M. and traveled all night.</div>LDSdbSysop
