Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer is reported to be planning the production of films in New York, and in view of the increasing film activity hereabouts, with the Paramount studio in operation, Pathe making pictures here, Fox turning out shorts, and the Warners recording Vitaphone acts in Flatbush, signs are not lacking that even that deserted Babylon of screedom, Fort Lee, N. J., may yet awaken from its age-long slumber. In fact, the first signs of stirring life are visible there with the Peerless studio going into action with a picture dealing with Mormons. Here's one case where polygamy can't be objected to on the screen because it's historic.
