The New York LDS Church History Committee gives walking tours of history sites in New York City. At the moment, we have two tours prepared, both with several trained guides.
Lower Manhattan - 1832-1850
This tour covers sites in lower Manhattan. It begins in City Hall Park and winds its way through the original site of Columbia College, Printing House Square, Wall Street and ends up at Old Slip, where a plaque commemorating the sailing of the ship Brooklyn. All the sites are connected with events in the 1st half of the 19th century (1832-1850).

57th Street - 1910-present
This tour travels 57th street from 5th Avenue to 8th Avenue and up Broadway to the Manhattan New York Temple.Along the way, the tour looks at the LDS Church and its members presence at Steinway Hall, Carnegie Hall, the Arts Student League, Stillman's Gym and the Manhattan Temple, including the area around Lincoln Square. In the process, the tour covers events from 1910 though the present.
