From The Prophet v1 n2, 25 May 1844, p 2
Donations in books, natural or artificial curiosities, philosophical apparatuses, &c., will be received by the "Society for the Diffusion of Truth," at the office of the Prophet, and forwarded to the Museum, at Nauvoo. Notices of which will be published, if desired.
