In his book, [Journal of the Rev. Josepf Wolff] he makes no mention of meeting Parley P. Pratt during his 1837 visit to New York, or of Mormonism. He does suggest that he investigated the possibility that the American Indians were of the Ten Tribes of Israel and didn't find it credible because the very Indians universally didn't make that claim.
