An officer from Detroit, Mich., is now in Albany, in search of a man named Simon Lord, a peddler, who is represented to be the possessor of seven wives. He is not a Mormon, although following up the faith. His last victim was a young lady named Carrie Owens, the daughter of a wealthy farmer residing about three miles from Detroit.
