  • 1831 October: One woman convert has visited Kirtland and is on her way back to Boston, convinced of Mormonism's truth.[1]
  • by 1832: Two Mormon Missionaries preach in Boston, converting 15, including two wealthy women.[2]
  • 1832: Alexander Campbell's Delusions published by Benjamin H. Greene Bookshop, Boston.[3]
  • 1832, October: Relative of woman mentioned in Himes' preface to Campbell's Delusions claims that Himes' information was inaccurate.[4]
