A second note mentions an item from the Council Bluffs Bugle newspaper reports that a group of Mormon missionaries, including John Taylor, had arrived in Council Bluffs after 42 days of travel from Salt Lake City. Taylor, it reports, was on his way to New York City to start a Mormon newspaper, to be called The Mormon.
This time, the report indicates that N. H. Felt, Capt. A. Robbins, Dr. J. Clinton, E. K. Fuller and M. A. Peck accompany Taylor as assistants and counselors.
