Purpose

This template is used for referring to templates in a way that does not expand the template, but provides an automatic link to the template page. The name of the template is short for template link.

Usage

This template takes one parameter: the name of the template. For example, to refer to the {{Merge}} template, you would insert {{tl|Merge}}.
