A Church Meeting was held

A Church Meeting was held at 183 Canal street, New York�was addressed by Elders george T. Leach, J. A. Stratton, and C. W. Wandell.

The following resolution was passed unanimously, whereas certain manifestations proves that an evil spirit has operated in the minds of some, to the detriment of the influence of the high authorities of the Church, and whereas, a proper respect is not paid, therefore Resolved, That we reprobate such a course and that we sustain "the Twelve" in all things pertaining to the Kingdom of God, at all hazards through good or evil report.
