A SYNOPSIS OF THE LIFE AND TRAVELS OF NOAH PACKARD

I was again called upon to take another tour, preaching and on the 6th day of that month [?October 1840?], I started in company with Hiram Hoyt; my route was through Cuaugo [?] to the east through the northern part of the state of New York into Vermont and Massachusetts, and returned through the cities of New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and St. Louis to Nauvoo, where I arrived on the 16th day of December following, during which time I settled difficulties in several branches of the Church; about a dozen persons were baptized and I traveled 3,431 miles; from the above date to the 22nd of August 1842.
