- 1831 October: One woman convert has visited Kirtland and is on her way back to Boston, convinced of Mormonism's truth.[1]
- by 1832: Two Mormon Missionaries preach in Boston, converting 15, including two wealthy women.[2]
- 1832: Alexander Campbell's Delusions published by Benjamin H. Greene Bookshop, Boston.[3]
