  • A well-known anti-Mormon activist approached WPMonson at an outdoor meeting in 1917, with her minister, and "very piously asked that I pray for her. I replied in a very off-hand manner, 'Mrs. B--, my mother has always taught me to pray for those who despitefully use and persecute me, and I want to assure you that I pray for you." -- on Facebook

Later personal message:

  • FYI, the "Mrs. B." for whom WPMonson prayed in the clip I posted last night was the same Mrs. Brittain that we talked about briefly before.
