Bridgeport CT Republican Farmer, 1 August 1843 v34 n1737 p. 2

For Nauvoo

Last evening a caravan of six immense waggons, containing some eight or ten families of Mormons, passed our office, bound for the city of Nauvoo. We learned that they were from Wayne County, this State. They were well provided for a journey, with beds, bedding, cooking utensils, &c., and intended prosecuting the entire distance to Nauvoo, by land.—Buffalo paper, 25th July.
