Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Has Missionaries Busy in Hudson Valley
The accompanying picture is of the missionaries of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints now working in the Hudson District—headquarters in Poughkeepsie.
They are from left to right—
Sitting: Elder Delores W. Harris from Tremonton, Utah; Miss Nellie A. De Ryke, Salt Lake City; Morris E. Baker (District President) Rupert, Idaho; Miss Ruth Lillian Wood, Salt Lake City, and G. L. Berrett (Mission Asst Secretary), Murray, Utah.

Each of these young men and women works two years or more in the mission field without salary for remuneration of any kind, as there is no paid ministry in the "Mormon" Church. Their commission is literally, "Freely ye have received, freely give."
