1844-06-08-Brother Hyde's Communication
From New York City LDS History
The Prophet v1n4, 8 June 1844, pg 2
- Brother Hyde's Communication arrived too late for insertion in our last number, it may be found in our columns today.
- We would state to our correspondents that to insure insertion in the "Prophet," their communications should be received early in the week, as our immense edition render it necessary for us to go to press on Friday morning.
- O, P. Q. is too lengthy for insertion in the Prophet.
- M. T. must alter his diction, as we will not publish any scurrilous articles.
- Miss C. S.'s lines on "Babylon" partake too much of Babylon; a little more attention to "time and measure" would not be amiss.
- We would refer P. to the extracts in today's paper from Gen. Smith's views of the Policy of Governments.
- "Storrs" can get the information desired at the "Prophet Office."
