The Mormons

The Mormons seem to be flourishing in Philadelphia, no less than fourteen persons—ten men and two women—having been baptised by a preacher of that faith! on Monday of last week. We agree entirely with the editor of the New Haven Herald that, when such an absurdity as this Mormon faith prevails in the religious world, we may cease to wonder that Locofocoism is tolerated in the political. ——N.
