A MORMON IN TROUBLE.A man of tbe Mormon faith, named Joseph Bebee, with his wife who had no children, occupied the 2d story of the house No. 177 Gorick street the lower part of which was inhabited by a man named Irwin, with his wife and two childrena son and a daughter. Bebee having converted Mrs. Irwin to the Mormon faith, in the absence of her husband on the 31st ult. removed Mrs. Irwin with her children and furniture to No. 166 Essex-st, where they lived together as husband and wifeleaving Mrs. Bebee at 177 Goerick street. Mr. Irwin having discovered where Bebee and his wife were, applied to Justice Gilbert at the Upper Police Office, for a warrant to bring Bebee up, but as nothing could be done as to stealing the wife and children, the Justice got the boy, Irwin's son, to prefer a complaint against Bebee for beating himself and sister, and on this complaint he was arrested and committed to prison in default of $600 bail. Bad as he is, the wife of Bebee, who is 14 years married to him, is anxious to live with him again.
