Mormon Mission.�The 'Times and Seasons' contains the recommendatory letters of Joe Smith, appointing G. J. Adams to accompany Elder Hyde on a mission to St. Petersburg, Russia, "to be one of the messengers to introduce the fullness of the gospel of the Son of God to the people of that vast empire." So Russia is not to be in darkness any longer.
