The Bodies of the Mormon Martyrs at Nauvoo

Newark NJ Daily Advertiser, 15 July 1844, p. 2

An extra from the Mormon paper at Nauvoo describes the reception of the bodies of the Prophet and his brother…

Elder Adams has started from Nauvoo to visit the Elders of the Mormon Church in the Eastern States, for the purpose of consulting as to a reorganization of the Church. He will call upon Sidney Ridden in the vicinity of Pittsburg, and then proceed East, where the largest portion of the twelve are located.
