New York Evening Post, v. XLIV, 23 February 1846, p. 2.

Model of New Haven.—A model of New Haven, in carved wood, is now exhibiting in the large hall of the granite building, on the corner of Broadway and Chambers street. It represents every building, tree and other object in New Haven. There are also in the same exhibition, models of the principal buildings of New York, of the Mormon Temple at Nauvoo, and other remarkable buildings. These models of cities and buildings, are the most effectual methods of giving a perfect idea of their arrangement and appearance. See the advertisement of the proprietors, Messrs. Belden & Cunningham.

The proprietors are making arrangements for executing in the same manner, a model of the entire city of New York.
