Things in Philadelphia
Correspondence of the Tribune
Philadelphia, June 30, 1847.

The doctrine of spiritual wife-ism seems not yet to be extinct. Yesterday a Mormon by the name of Hollister, who has been for some time hanging about the house of one Benjamin Hamilton, was caught in an ice-creamery with Mrs. Hamilton, by the husband, who had been on the watch, and who immediately gave chase. The race was continued for some distance, and quite a crowd was collected. Hollister was at last arrested and bound over to answer to an attempt to seduce.
