The Williamsburgh Mormons' Oyster House Ceremonies Yesterday—Brigham Young's Miracles—Brothers Jackson and Benton.

The large room over the oyster saloon in Grand street, Williamsburgh, was so densely crowded, last evening as to be thoroughly disagreeable, except to the elders and Bishops, whose heads are kept cool by refreshing draughts of air through the broken panes in the crazy windows. The President, Potts, offered a short prayer in which he spoke of the incredulity of the people of Long Island. "Their 'arts," said he, "is so 'ard that they can't believe the truth not when hit's put before their heyes. They refuse to believe the testimony of men what 'as seen miracles performed by the prophet Brigham Young." This was in allusion to the inhabitants of Pearsall's Corners, L. I., who had hissed down Elder Jackson when he declared that he had seen Brigham Young's walking stick turned into a serpent. After the singing of a very merry hymn to an exceedingly lively air, Bishop Benton ascended the stand and declaimed a while. He was succeeded by Brother Jackson.
