Letter from John Felt to Franklin D. Richards

John Felt (New York City) to Franklin D. Richards, 24 November 1886. In: Missionary Reports, CHL MS 6104, fd 33

“There are a few Saints on Long Island that have not been visited for a long time. Also quite a number of sons and daughters of Saints and Backsliders scattered around New York and vicinity, whose Names I have with address but have not yet been able to look them up. New York is a large city and it takes time and means to get around. There are also a few Saints in Phila. And likely in other places. If thought advisable I will cheerfully leave here and hunt them up, or go where ever I am directed.”

(This is really the only part of the letter that is relevant to NYC history.)
