Mormon Elder Preaches Here
The Mormons, or Latter Day Saints, in Newark, were honored last night by a visit from Elder John G. McQuarrie, president of the Eastern States Mission, who delivered the sermon att the evening worship, held at 605 Broad street. The branch of the Mormon church in Newark has been established about one year. In Patterson and several other nearby cities are organizations of considerable size. The Newark branch has a membership of fifty.
