Utah Teacher Guest Day Tea Speaker
Miss Frances F. Ball, New Jersey, a teacher and Director of Religious Education at Wasatch-Logan Academy, Mt. Pleasant, Utah, will be the guest speaker at the Guest Day Tea in the recreation room of the Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, June 21. Miss Bill says: "The average tourist who visits at Salt Lake City leaves with the feeling that Christian missions are not needed in Utah. However, when one lives in the Inter-Mountain area, one becomes convinced that the need is just as great as in Alaska or Kentucky." Last year two hundred and forty five boys and girls were in Miss Ball's Bible classes. These students represented twelve different denominations, fifty percent coming directly from Mormon homes. Other phases of work in which Miss Ball was active last year include trustee of the local mission church, president of the women's missionary society, and young people's secretary of Southern Utah Presbyterial. Her many contacts have been invaluable in her preparation for understanding and working with church women's organizations and her talk should be one of great interest.
