Elder to Lead Meeting of Latter-day Saints

Elder John Longden, an official in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon), will conduct a public meeting Monday at 8 p.m. in the Chapel, 511 Clinton avenue.

Mr. Longden will arrive in Massachusetts Saturday to begin a series of conferences throughout the New England states and the New England Mission of the church.

He is an assistant to the Council of the Twelve Apostles of the Latter-day Saints church, having been called to office in 1951.

Mr. Longden is district manager of the National Electric Products company, with headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah.
