Template:Summary

This page is a summary of an article that is covered by copyright law and its full text therefore can't be posted here.

Documentation

This template is to be applied to pages that are summaries of articles and other materials because the original articles are covered by copyright and we don't have permission to include the full text here. Generally, if the article is available elsewhere on the Internet, a link should be provided to the article. If the link is to a restricted database or one that carries a financial fee to see, please indicate that.

Categorization

Pages that include this template will be automatically included in the Category:Summaries (unless you supply the "category=" parameter, as described below).

Usage

Simply insert the template near the top of the article by typing {{Summary}}. In general you should supply the reason a summary is provided instead of the full article, e.g., {{Summary|This article is copyright}}. If you are using the template only for documentation purposes (such as on the Style Guide page), you can suppress the "Summaries"" category by adding a blank "category" parameter, e.g., {{Summary|This article is copyright|category=}}.
