Well Known in Salt Lake City
Salt Lake, Utah. September 20--W. Hooper Young, suspected by the police as the murder of Mrs. Pulitzer in New York, is the son of John W. Young, a son of Brigham Young, and a well known railroad contractor, having become wealthy from contracts in the construction of Utah and Northern and Utah Central railways. At the time of Brigham Young's death, in 1877. John A. Young was one of the former's counselors. He was tried under the Edmunds law, charged with polygamy, but was acquitted on a technicality. Hooper Young is well known in Salt lake, having resided here up to a few years ago.
