Young Examined By Garvan
Gathering Up Ends for Trial of Pulitzer Murder Case.
Chief of Police Murphy, of Jersey City was a caller on Assistant District Attorney Garvan in Manhattan, this morning. He called in reference to ends of the Pulitzer murder case that were in his jurisdiction in Jersey City. Several witnesses who, it was believed, would assist in bringing the murder of Mrs. Anna Pulitzer in teh Clarence Apartment house at 103 West Fifty-eighth street, Manhattan, home to William Hooper Young, were privately examined by Mr. Garvan to-day. Mr. Garvan now has three murder cases, those of Mrs. Pulitzer, Mrs. Rose and Captain Craft, on his hands.
